Do you offer a warranty on your product?

Yes. Unless otherwise noted, we offer a limited warrant on rebuild, reconditioned & new products that we sell. CLICK HERE for more information.


Do you offer customer rebuilding & reconditioning services?

Yes, in many cases we do. Additionally, we offer core credit back on many a/c & non-a/c heater controls and other parts. Contact us by CLICKING HERE!


How can I contact you?  Do you have a phone # I can call?

Because The Part Guy handled on a part-time basis, outside of full-time jobs and extremely hectic family lives & professional lives, we correspond exclusively via email. We do, however, respond promptly to emails. If you believe there is a problem with a part that you purchase from us, please contact us and provide a phone number and we’ll call you as soon as possible.


Do you offer local pick-up?

Unless it is a very large item that is either difficult to pack and/or expensive to ship, we do not offer local pick-up. We do, however, ship daily.


Do you accept offers below the asking price?

Only in exceptionally rare instances.  Feel free to inquire about a "flawed" part that is still functional.


Why are your shipping & handling fees sometimes more expensive than some other sellers?

We charge handling fees because it's expensive to run a shipping department. The specialized nature of The Part Guy is unlike Amazon and other large online retailers that make up for the costs of labor & materials by selling large volumes of inventory. Our handling fees are designed to cover those costs.


Do you accept returns?

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, but we do guarantee our work.  (CLICK HERE FOR WARRANTY INFOWe understand that we will lose some sales as a result as a result of this policy, but it is necessary in order for us to be able to continue offering the parts & services we provide, and keep the promises we make to our customers.  We don’t mind answering as many questions as it takes to insure the product you would like to purchase is correct for you. We take a tremendous amount of time making sure our products are accurately represented, and if there is a problem, we will make it right.


Do you accept exchanges?

ONLY IN VERY RARE CIRCUMSTANCES.  This is mainly dictated by the rarity of the part.  Any item to be accepted in exchange must be evaluated in advance to determine actual value.  We do not accept exchanges of parts that have been installed, but they still may have some value. 


What if I get the incorrect part, or a part that is not as described?

We will NEVER intentionally mislead someone in order to sell a part. If we do make a mistake, all you need to do is contact us (and provide a phone number) to let us know what the problem is and we will do everything possible to make it right.


What if a part I purchased gets damaged in shipping?
